Washington. The Twitter account of Jack Dorsey, founder and current CEO of social media platform Twitter, was hacked on Friday. Hackers made several objectionable and racist tweets from his account. According to reports, many tweets continued to appear on his profile for more than half an hour. Later, the Twitter tech team recovered his account. Dorsi has about 4.2 million followers.
Chakal Squad Group took responsibility of hacking
Twitter says it is investigating the incident. The company suspended the accounts that were retweeted from Dorsi's hack account. Apart from this, some other accounts were also closed on suspicion. A group named Chakal Squad claimed responsibility for hacking. After Jack's account, he was tweeted about Hitler's support and Nazi Germany.Apart from this, messages were also posted making racist comments on Jack himself. In another tweet, hackers also rumored to have bombed Twitter's headquarters. Twitter later deleted all these messages.
Jack's account has been hacked earlier too
The online attack on Twitter comes after Dorsey's promise to users that he had spoken to social media about ending the hate speech at the earliest. Earlier in 2016, Dorsey's account was hacked. A group of hackers named AvraMine then posted several posts from his account.
